Extensive experience developing in SAP ABAP Languages & using SAP Workbench.
Knowledge of the ALE/IDOC/RFC system services.
Knowledge of Work Flow, Purchase-to-Pay, Business Warehouse, SAPScripts, SmartForms.
Knowledge of Authorization Checks.
Experience with Dialog Programming, User Exits & Transport Workbench (Transport requests).
Knowledge of methods, processes, and techniques for delivering new or enhanced functionality
Experience with OSS Notes Implementation / Core code changes.
Working knowledge of other SAP Technology; expected to understand the end-to-end technical SAP solution, including impact to support teams (Basis, Batch).
Descrição do Projeto: ABAP Offshore Coordinator
General Job Description:
The individual in this position will work as a member of a global team and will be working on site.
Experienced ABAP Developer (> 5 years) to participate on SAP coding efforts, including:
o Interfaces with the process teams & development lead to understand functional requirement and finalize technical design specifications.
o Code the solutions (enhancements, reports, interfaces and data conversions) or dispatch the coding work to offshore development team in a different location and timezone.
o Interfaces with the offshore development team to assure compliance with Standards & Programming Practices & Guidelines. Will maintain document library for ABAP components.
o This includes creation of programs in SAP's proprietary language - ABAP, configuration, QA, unit testing, creation and promotion of transports to acceptance and production, liaison with BATCH and BASIS and Process/Project teams.
Responsible for stewarding access credentials (e.g. VPN, SAP, Remedy, etc.) for offshore resources; providing timely notice of departure to SPS management; self-initiating access termination requests for departing offshore resources; and providing monthly reports of staff adds / departures to SPS management
Responsible for technical quality assurance aspects of SAP coding efforts done by offshore resources
Responsible for supporting integration testing, user acceptance testing, cut-over activities, and warrantee period support
Provides support to custom built applications.
Provides technical support for business critical interfaces.
o This includes problem resolution following operational failures of interfaces.
Reviews and implements OSS notes.
Maintains technical design & construction documentation
provides custom SAP development (ABAP, JAVA, WebdynPro) and support for SAP instances used users worldwide.
o This includes: interfaces with non-SAP applications; extensions to SAP itself in the form of user exits; customized SAP reports; front end (End User GUI) configuration.
