Job Description for Product Classification Specialist
NCM
1. Review currently PRODUCT DATABASE classification;
2. To interface with internal Product Line and external consultancy
companies for appropriate NCM classification;
3. Control NCM register inside company's ERP system (Microsiga);
4. Communicate update information about PRODUCT DATABASE to all
relevant departments;
5. Deploy internal and external partnerships ensuring the best
appropriate way to manage NCM classification;
6. Be fully responsible for NCM management, system, reporting and
control;
7. Support company's departments on NCM knowledge;
8. Train internal users about technical assumptions on NCM
classification;
9. Ensure end to end process support for importation and sales
operation;
10. Represent company before Custom Tax Authority on NCM classification
discussion;
11. Prepares and submit NCM consultation before Federal Tax Authority
(RFB);
12. Support tax team on the Tax Plan project, mainly regarding possible
importation tax reduction (EX-Tariff, CAMEX's resolutions, etc);
13. Coordinate actions for either EX-Tariff application (new products) or

14. Coordinate with engineering areas the needed analysis related to
possibility of software/hardware's split with appropriate documentation

Skills and Abilities Requirement
1. Over five years of experience in equivalent position in
manufacturing companies, Telecommunication Industry would be desirable;
2. Full degree on Engineering (Technological field: Electrical,

1. Inglês fundamental
2. Ter experiência no atendimento a clientes, seja remoto (por fone)
ou pessoalmente
3. Ter domínio de sistemas Unix – Nível de Administrador
4. Conhecer redes de telecom, preferencialmente redes IP e protocolos
de sinalização. Se tiver conhecimento de redes wireless (2G e 3G) melhor.
